Lupus is a devastating disease that still is not discussed enough and many times misunderstood. We have to advocate past Lupus Awareness month and bring attention to this illness year round. Individuals are dying from complications of this illness and to date, no cure has been found for Lupus. In the meantime, The LupieGirl will continue to motivate, encourage and inspire Lupies to live their best lives, debunking the stigma of what "sick" looks like, as well as accomplishing their wishes and goals.
Your donation supports The LupieGirl, Inc. Initiatives that empower Lupies, their caregivers and their loved ones through education, support groups, giveaways and more!

Lupus Warrior "Being part of the lupus group has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has been an incredibly empowering and uplifting experience for me. Before joining the Survivor's Circle, I felt isolated and alone in my journey with Lupus. The physical and emotional challenges this chronic illness presents can be overwhelming at times, but being part of this group has shown me that I am not alone. Meeting and connecting with individuals who understand firsthand what I am going through has made all the difference. The support I have received from this group is truly unmatched. Everyone is so welcoming, kind, and compassionate. Whether it's sharing personal stories, offering advice, or simply lending a listening ear, the members of this group have become like a second family to me. There is an instant sense of camaraderie and understanding amongst us, and I find solace knowing that I can turn to them for support whenever I need it. Not only has the group provided emotional support, but it has also been a valuable source of information and resources. From sharing updates on new treatments and therapies to providing helpful tips for managing symptoms, the collective knowledge within this group is incredible. It has empowered me to take control of my health and explore various options for managing my lupus effectively. The strength, support, and resources I need to navigate through the ups and downs of life with lupus. I am immensely grateful for this wonderful community of warriors who have brightened my journey and continue to inspire me every day." |

Lupus Warrior "The LupieGirl has been impactful on my life because I didn’t know nor understand what Lupus was. I had never heard of it a day in my life, so meeting her gave me a great understanding of Lupus and how it affects me. She uses her time by meeting monthly in the Survivors Circle when we have meetings, and the long days and nights of her planning, getting everything together that she can think of that would help other Lupies. She has done so much even during her hard times , sick days and she doesn’t complain at all. I love the LupieGirl because she never quit, never give up and she is always pressing forward, which encourage and motivate me to do the same." |
